Some people are into watches. Others are into bikes. Me? I'm
into Hondas. Always have been.

There’s something about Honda’s engineering that just clicks
with me—lightweight builds, rev-happy engines, and that unmistakable driver
feel that’s hard to replicate. It’s not just about speed—it’s about balance,
feel, and precision. And that passion is exactly what’s driven me through 24
years in the motor trade, and more recently, to co-found Griplab with my
business partner.

From Apprentice to Alignment Obsessive

My journey started in the dealer network, where I completed
my technician apprenticeship with Honda and BMW (a mere 20 years ago). That
experience gave me the solid technical foundation I needed and each step along
the way deepened my knowledge and gave me a new appreciation for
well-engineered machinery.

Anyone who knows me though know im a Honda nut! Maybe it's
the raw engagement of a VTEC engine on cam, or the simple joy of nailing the
perfect line in an EK Civic. It’s more than a car! it’s a language only fellow
enthusiasts speak.

But It’s Not Just About Hondas

While I’ll always be a Honda nut at heart, my passion
extends far beyond one brand. I’ve got love for anything with wheels! from
classic JDM heroes to quirky workhorses like our beloved Honda Acty shop
vehicle (Also a reliable gentleman like myself). It might be small, but it's
full of character, and it’s a perfect example of why I appreciate the weird and
wonderful side of automotive culture just as much as the fast and flashy.

If it moves, if it has a chassis, if there’s something to
tweak or refine! I’m in!

A Life in Motorsport

For the past 9 years, I’ve worked for a motorsport company,
and it’s here that everything I’ve learned over the years has come together.
I’ve been lucky enough to prep track cars, work with race teams, and refine my
craft. Motorsport taught me that it’s not just about power! It’s about how a
car moves, how it communicates, and how it responds under pressure.

That’s what sparked the idea for Griplab.

What Is Griplab?

Griplab is a space built for people who love driving and
care about how their car drives. Whether it’s precision wheel alignments,
chassis tuning, fabrication, or full refreshes and maintenance, we’re all about
helping drivers get the most out of their setup.

We’re combining dealer level technical know how, motorsport
experience, and years of tuning passion under one roof. Whether you’re building
a track weapon, keeping your street car sharp, or just want your daily driver
dialled in we’ve got your back.

We’re not here to be everything to everyone. We’re here to
be the best at what we do.

Griplab isn’t just a workshop—it’s the product of decades of
dedication, countless hours in garages, and a deep love for the automotive
world. We’re not driven by trends, we’re driven by the feel of the road, the
feedback from the chassis, and the community that gets it.
